I don’t know if this is a lesson, more so an observation, but I want to let those in grief know that it’s a cycle. It reverberates around your head, with each round getting wider as more time passes. Sometimes though, it can still bang your head when you’re not expecting it. The grief doesn’t end, which is okay. It only exists because love exists. You don’t go through it to see the end, but you’ll manage.
Its always bittersweet learning new anecdotes about a person only because of a tragic circumstance, but I’m glad I got to learn a bit about this young man thanks to your tribute. The passion and humanness relayed through these lessons are so valuable.
